Although announced that the world beginning will take place only next month at the Paris Motor Show, General Motors officials have provided a big surprise, bring to light at Detroit, the first photos with the new Saab 9X Aero Concept.Saab 9X Aero Concept is in fact a open vehicle of the preceding concept 9X BioHybrid, presented in the spring of this year in Geneva, and prefigure the series future model, which will be named 9-1.
Other official details were not disclosed, but from these images it can be seen that the main feature of the new concept is the inclined metallic roof, on the style to those seen on the speedster models. Also, Saab 9X Aero Concept will provide in interior of the newest technology.
The series model that will derive from 9X Aero Concept will be a premium hatchback, to which will be like an alternative to MINI, according to the latest design study Aero, will be available both in the hatch version, as well as cabrio.
Saab 9-1 could enter next year in the series production, with a range of motorizations which will include the diesel propeller and flex-fuel of last generation and even a hybrid version. It is possible that the car to arrive on North American market.
