According to the British magazine Car Magazine, Audi plans to produce an electric vehicle, which would be based on Volkswagen Up!, model which will revive the name Lupo and will be launched somewhere in the year 2011.
Presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show from 2007, the concept Up! was thought that a minicar equipped with an electric motor mounted in posterior, for urban traffic.
Sources inside the Audi mentions that the future electric model from Ingolstadt would have as a source of propulsion the batteries, which would make the vehicle to offer a generous interior space.
Still nobody knows what the traction will use the future model Audi electric (rather should have traction on the front deck).
