Only that it was announced the launch of VW Golf Bluemotion and Germans already presented a second "green" Golf much more advanced than the first. The second Bluemotion will emit under 100 g / km of CO2.

VW Golf MkVI Bluemotion will emit with 20 g / km of Co2 less than VW Golf MkV Bluemotion which will be launched at the Geneva Auto Show. The concept is "green" similar with its smaller brother, VW Polo Bluemotion, but greener than its rival Ford Focus ECOnectic, whose emissions reach 115 g / km.

The low consumption that passing over 3 km litres /100 is possible due to efficient technology of which benefiting the TDI engine of 1.6 litres. The car power rises up to 104 HP and a maximum torque of 249 Nm. The "green" engine is slowest because it go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 11.2 seconds.

The low consumption is possible due to the aerodynamic improvements. A special filter is also added to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides. The concept will appear in the showrooms from January 2009. A version will be sold from the second half of next year. May be more green than that but the engine to sound alike a diesel?
