Volkswagen Golf TDI in U.S.

The German producer wants to teach Americans the TDI's beauty but will delay a lot the launch of the new generation on the North American continent.

Only in the autumn of 2009 will reach the new generation Golf 6 with 2.0 TDI engine on the U.S. market. Probably then the Germans expected that diesel will have more search or on the contrary, Volkswagen officials expect a flood of orders on the Europe market.

Instead Touareg will go with TDI engine in the spring of next year, while the Golf GTI will show up next summer. As regards Tiguan, 2.0 TDI engine would be much sought on a body so large and would require a new system to eliminate noxious, so that it's mount is currently excluded.
